Last time in March 2017, it required manager override to be able to apply the discount for fees manually. make sure you check the total before payment because the coupon wasn't applied automatically at the register.

I used the coupon twice tonight and had no issues at the register.

Just got home from Kroger. No Petco other than variable and the excluded $10. Did not mess with variables, even though not on the excluded terms. Next trip I will look for the $100 Visa's.

Credit card rewards. For example there's an American Express card that pays out 5% at grocery stores. You buy $100 card, you just got paid a free $5 while not really having spent any money at all.

I realize you may be speaking about another variant of AE, but my American Express Blue Cash _Preferred_ pays 6% back on grocery store purchases.

Not the main purpose.$5 off the shopping trip with $45 or more buying 3 Petco cards (see my link above), but a good 5% back from Chase Freedom CC is always helpful.

Great deal for those looking for some grocery spend on their Freedom. Buy this and pay ultilities or something that only earns 1-2% back, plus 200 fuel points to boot ( valued at $7 for a 35 gallon fill up)
