The premiere+ has an RF remote instead of an IR blaster remote, has a headphone jack on the remote so you can listen through that, and the Premiere+ supports HDR. Ohh and the Plus also has an ethernet port on the back.

I have the Premiere, but I would get the premiere+ just for the remote. Having to point it directly at the roku is a pain in the butt. But you can use your phone as a remote.

I'd go new Roku premiere plus if it were me, plus also has a SD card slot and Ethernet plug.
90day vs 1yr warranty and of course what's listed above, RF remote and headphone jack in review.

I normally don't shy away from refurb stuff, but I bought a couple refurb Roku's not long ago and they both shit the bed about a month after I started using them. Had to buy my mom a brand new one to replace it. Not doing that again.

Other than that, I'm a Roku fan and it is noob/grandma/wifey friendly.

Does that mean you didn't start using them until after the 90 warranty had already expired? Otherwise, you could have exchanged them.
