For Customers with Total Wireless Handsets Capable of Being Unlocked : Total Wireless will provide an unlocking code to customers who request unlocking, provided they meet the following conditions:
(a) Customers must request handset unlocking. Total Wireless will unlock handsets of current and former Total Wireless customers without charge. Non-former customers may request unlocking, but Total Wireless may charge a reasonable fee.
(b) The Total Wireless Handset must have been activated on Total Wireless Service for no fewer than 12 months with Service Plans redeemed in no fewer than 12 months.
(c) Customers must possess a Total Wireless Handset that is not reported stolen, lost, or associated with fraudulent activity.
(d) If a customer in good standing requesting handset unlocking is deployed as military personnel, upon provision of deployment papers, Total Wireless will honor that customer's unlocking request.
Only way to unlock Total Wireless phones is to either being with them for a year or to charge a reasonable fee. Does anyone know what that reasonable fee may be? Might be the only way to unlock besides being with them for a year
I'm confused... one post up, you just said "after unlock, it can be used on att or tmo"
or do you mean that only Total Wirelss can unlock it?(i.e. after 12 months of use)
It can be unlocked, it's just one of the most difficult to do because of the 12 months requirement. Still, I think this is a good deal if someone is happy to use Total Wireless. The SE is a fantastic phone for $135 if you can deal with the 4 inch screen.

If you are desperate for smaller budget iPhones, get iPhone 5s 16GB Reconditioned for $80 - $17.25 for $62.75 or iPhone 5s New 16GB for $75
If anything I'd probably get iPhone 6 32GB for $170 after discount. The services pricing is not too bad actually $35/mo for "5GB" data, not too bad, great for grandma grandpa or kids etc..
I'd go with this over Cricket at these phone prices any day.

Are iPhone SE's CDMA/GSM? Would like to use it on AT&T if it can be unlocked.
