Hi Folks,

My wife and I purchased this over the weekend. Been wanting this grill for a while. $349.99 includes cookbook, 3 years warranty +costco visa warranty. They also had the lil tex and the other bigger grills at reasonable prices. Links are for the locations for their "roadshow" in order to capture the prices. Technically doesn't come with the cover but I convinced the rep to throw one in.

I never considered the Komando Joe as I was primarily interested in something that can do smoke and grill. I am planning on replacing my regular gas grill and charcoal grill with my Traeger. Used it for 1st time last night, great results on Chicken and burgers. Nothing burned and great smokey flavor on hickory pellets.

I recommend reading this article/review as well as others you can find online. https://www.outsideonline.com/205...lling-meat

I love my Traeger. It does everything but sear steaks because it doesn't reach high enough temperatures. Ceramic or infrared for steaks and a pellet grill like this Traeger for everything else. Great price.

I also relatively recently picked one up during the roadshow they had at Costco in Oregon. In regards to OP, they also threw in a "free cover" for me, but that actually comes with the grill regardless during their roadshow. No complaints though. Love my Traeger.

Did they sell the various models? I called a local one here and the did not have the Junior Elite or Lil Texan they only had the Elite.

The costco by me only had the junior and the texan during the roadshow. Look at my link for dates and times and during the "roadshow", they will have 3 models.

Did they offer free assembly or anything? If not, how was assembly?

No free assembly, but if you've ever been successful in putting together any IKEA furniture, you're in the clear.

They're currently at the Costco in Marina del Rey in southern California. Just talked to the guy and been looking into the wood pellet grills. I was also offered the "free cover".

I purchased the Junior from Costco 2 days ago. Free cover, free chicken rub, 3 year warranty. Smoked two of the whole (smaller) organic chickens on them. Great! Easy. Do not regret for a moment.

See if the representative will sell you a floor model when the show is near the end.. I bought the Texas elite 34 floor model and he tossed in two bags of pellets in addition to the "free cover and rub"
