Most of these displays are bad and likely really old,they have horrible viewing angles. 1080p panels should be standard for 15.6
I have the same question. Something that we can do is, go to a store and see this poor specs laptop beside a better resolution laptop. That can give a feeling if this can be PASSED. But I'll wait for others to respond to your question.
