I got this email on one of my Audible accounts, but not all of them. It seems as though it only works for non-active accounts.
12 credits all at once for $99. It will renew at the full price of $150 in one year. Fine print says that this offer is not available to existing Audible members, or customers who have been paid Audible members in the past 30 days, so YMMV.

Looks like they aren't applying the 30-day rule. I canceled and re-upped in 5 minutes and got the deal. Other posts support this.

Canceling doesn't affect your library at all. My account is currently cancelled, but I still have access to every Audible I'd previously bought. I just don't have access to their sales.

Like many here, I've cancelled and restarted many times. Never had any issues with the Library, or heard of any issues in a couple years of following Audible threads.
On that note, does anyone know how often these year memberships come around? I was thinking of doing the 3 month membership I'm being offered in hopes of a deal on a year membership after.
Edit: I also selected the option "I didn't know I was subscribed" as my cancellation reason and the reason was "We apologize for the confusion and we'd like to make it up to you.".
