I've owned this ice cream maker for a while. I have no complaints. The extra bowl is also nice because you can make a custard base over heat and then skip the four to five hour chilling period by using one bowl to rapid cool the mixture (while churning) and then transfer to the second bowl to finish the churning process. I think I paid $60+ so this seems a great deal.

I bought this ice cream maker a few years ago (was an usually great deal, I think I paid around $30). But we literally used it for the first time last week- the ice cream was awesome and it was a lot easier to make than I anticipated. But it can only make one batch at a time before the bowl has to be re-frozen. The op is right, a replacement bowl is $30 in itself, so this is a pretty good deal.

Out of curiosity, where do you see the bowl is aqua? I didn't see that anywhere.

It says SUMMER is now expired and that JULY doesn't affect the order. Any other codes work?

I couldn't find any working coupons either. I tried signing up through email for the 15% off coupon yesterday, but haven't received it yet. I think I might just buy it for 55.96 currently unless someone chimes in with either 20% or 15% and free shipping.

If it helps you, here is what I did - I wrote in and said when it was in my cart with coupon SUMMER,, it took off the discount, but when I returned later to complete the purchase, I was charged the full amount (all true). I asked if it was possible to get the 20% discount, and if not, could they please cancel the order for me. They wrote back that as a courtesy they refunded the 20%. I can't guarantee it will work for you but can't hurt.

The extra bowl really makes a big difference. Just know you need to completely freeze them before use which takes both time and a lot of room in your freezer.
