Get it, and immediately flash the bios and you'll love it. Otherwise it'll prove to be a major pain in the rear.

everyone has me too scared to buy an acer, asus, dell, cyberpowerpc due to power supplies... hp apprently uses bronze certified, which is at least better than most prebuilt. But these are some great specs if I get an intel instead of amd (amd ryzen 7 better for video editing).

Agree with you on the BIOS. Shipping runs about $14.95 to anywhere in the continental U.S. and is available for pickup in some stores. Costco's return policy is pretty good, so it's something to consider.

What does flashing your bios mean?

It means to update your bios. The reviews mention that the computer worked fine, then wouldn't boot up after a week or so because the bios stopped recognizing the SSD. So if you flash (update) it before that happens, you save yourself from a big annoyance in the future.

The PS doesn't look too hard to replace if it comes to that, but it should be fine. My OEM Dell 300watt PS from a 2008 Inspiron still runs fine with a 2.4 Q6600 OC'd to 3.Ghz and OC'd GTX660 with two HD's running constantly.

Yeah, it was purely coincidental while I was cleaning up and editing the thread details prior to posting. I did search prior to posting and there was nothing. After I posted, there it was! I just left you a +1 Rep! Cheers!

Oh your post is better by far, the other didn't even have a link in it. Meant to fill that in but had an issue to deal with.

I'm really tempted to pick this up.

With the really good specs, excellent return policy and no rebates, it's competitive with the other deals for Costco members.
