It's a field watch. It's supposed to be smaller. The Rolex Explorer, the gold standard of field watches, is 39mm, and several Tudor field watches are in the 35-36mm range. I own divers that are up to 44mm and look great. But any field watch over 40mm just looks wrong.

If you have abnormally large wrists and need something bigger, I'd look into pilot watches.
Agree 38mm is not women's size

Wow, this is the first time I've ever seen any Swiss made auto chronograph for around $500 (though I don't shop for watches much). I'm assuming the movement is Valjoux 7750. And I do agree that 38 mm seems small relative to the 15 mm thickness. It might look awkward on the wrist.

This is about as low as Hamiltons with this movement go, but some of the Bulova automatic chronos containing the Valjoux 7750 or equivalent Sellita SW500 occasionally go for less than $300. In both cases a lot of watch for the money.

This is a phenomenal price.

Valjoux 7750 movement is in the tag Heuer calibre 16 line, various oris, Omega's.

It's a beautiful movement with the chronograph being used as the main second hand.

I've got a Jacques LeMans with the 7750 movement and love it.

I know you guys are thinking this is small, but trust me, once it's on your wrist it won't feel or wear like it's small.

I would jump all over this but my collection is getting way too big...
