I need an iPhone soon and Best Buy is offering this for $2.99/mo for 24 months, making it about $72 + tax (on full price) + whatever other fees. it's $0.50 more than the last great offer and no gift card. it also says "Student Deals" so I don't know....
Is this a good deal for this item????
See same price for both Add a Line and Upgrade for should be good for both new and existing customers. I could be wrong so please double check before placing orders.
YMMV for Upgrades for select models.

$2.99/mo -16gb - all just about all colors as far as i can see
$4.16/mo - 32gb - all colors
$4.99/mo - 64gb - select colors

64GB is the same price as last time but no gift card.

Can someone please post a steps to call Sprint and see if they some good rep will oversee the 50-day requirement and help with the unlock? I saw this here somewhere, but I can't find it any more. It is something like calling a 1-800 number, option 5, option 5, option 2. Or something like that.

i think they changed the prices for some selections. this morning it was the same price for both upgrade and new. Now some upgrades have different prices while some still the same as new. when you add a line, it shows the discount price.

Sprint site says 50 days with them for unlock, but some on other thread states if u pay off it would auto unlock after couple of days

Yes can payoff early. Call *3 from phone to payoff dpp and it may auto unlock in 1-2 days. Otherwise call sprint to unlock, ymmv due to 50 day unlock policy

Will work on T-Mobile has all bands. Should work on att missing band 29 though.

Some people were able to go in store to add a paid plan on top of their free plan. Then payoff and cancel paid plan.
