Be sure that any manufacturer's rebates list THE EXACT SAME TIRE you are buying on the rebate. Cooper tire had a rebate that had very similar (but not exact) naming conventions which caused my tires to end up being $70 more expensive.
Spoke to a Discount tire rep's Michael on 8/8/2107 2:00 PM EST, who confirmed with his supervisor, there are three tiers to the $100/4 tires VISA prepaid rebate. The break down of the three categories are:
1."BEST TIRES" category gets $100/4 tires
2. "BETTER TIRES" category gets $75/4 tires
3. "GOOD TIRES" category gets $50/4 tires
Not sure the criteria Discount Tire use to rank BEST, BETTER and GOOD. Again, just because you purchase 4 tires doesn't mean you get $100 tire rebate. For example, was thinking getting Hankook Optimo H727, P205/65R15, $76.26, Discount Tire considered them as "BETTER" tires, so only get $75/4 tires. And can stack Discount Tire rebate with manufacture rebate (not another discount tire rebate).
Discount tire has a grace period for the rebate of +/- 5 days (can buy +/- 5 days of the valid dates and still get the rebate).
Clarification: This is valid in discount tire stores, as well as online.
On 8/29-8/30 you can stack with 15% eBay bucks

Note that the ebay promotion will not stack with the $60 discount tire credit card promotion because discount tire on ebay only takes Paypal. However, if you are buying expensive tires the 15% might bring you more cash back than the credit card deal.
The DTD part of the rebate is being denied for a number of people who submitted online. Rebate center saying "unmatched" invoice #. If you resubmit it online it says bad invoice #. Wants you to mail/fax rebate in. Mail in rebate is only for rebate# DTD0103. No mail in rebate for DTD0104.

So if I understand it right, you just buy 4 tires from their website delivered to your house and then fill a form for $100 rebate? And hope that there is some manufacturer's rebate to stack with it? And may be be on a look for possible price match? Anything else I should know?
