For me, the SF/fantasy selection is disappointing. There are a few good ones that I've already read or heard, like The Long Way to a Small, Angry Plane [audible.com]t and Metro 2033 [audible.com], and a few that could be interesting, but no must-reads.

In the Fiction section, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay [audible.com] is one of my favorite books of all time, and worth the 26 hours. One Hundred Years of Solitude [audible.com] is another classic, but the narration is not to my taste; John Lee seems to be one of those you-love-him-or-you-hate-him narrators.

Fantastic beginning to a trilogy about a young orphan becoming an assassin and all the moral qualms that go with it. Everything Brent Weeks writes is gold and this was how I discovered him.

Soulless
An Alexia Tarabotti Novel

Hilarious series about a woman who can negate supernatural powers in a Victorian England where werewolves and vampires have been integrated into society. Also a romance, but I'm a guy, so I loved the humor and action.

Alex Verus Series, Book 1

Closest thing to The Dresden Files not written by Jim Butcher. Don't know about The Dresden Files? Skip this sale and spend all your credits on buying up that series Smilie Alex Versus is a diviner and can pick through various possible futures. I wanted to get Metro 2033, anyway. Not that excited about any of the others, but can't pass on a free book. Anything good in SciFi? Otherwise I was thinking about the Caesar one or Origins of Political Order.
