Mystery $$ added to my Amazon Gift Card balance?

I logged into my Amazon account today, and noticed that my once zero balance now showed over $149!!
When I look at my gift card history, there are 2 odd amount gift cards there(like $89.xx and $59.xx). It says that they were added today, but I did not add them.
Any ideas on what this might be??
Do I dare reach out to Amazon customer service and ask?

a common scam is when a hacker has access to someones account, they social engineer with amazon customer service to refund really old orders into gift card balance. then they use the gift card balance to try and buy stuff
