If you're gaming, I don't think you'll have any issues whatsoever using an i5. It's rarely going to be a bottleneck.

My last submission of slickdeals $200 rebate was declined.

I ordered a laptop and a hard drive with a total amount of $1009.98 before tax which is more than the required $999.99 purchase. The problem is that the single order was automatically split by dell into two orders ($949.99 and $59.99). I was even assigned 2 order numbers. Then my submission was declined based on the fact that purchase amount of the two orders were less than the required $999.99.

I didn't do anything wrong on my side. I called customer service twice, but no response so far. I am so frustrated and disappointed.

I've had the joy of submitting a few of these rebates. My favorite one was when I submitted a rebate way back on one of the Alienware alphas when that was still a thing. They denied my rebate stating that a copy of the invoice was not attached. They included a copy of all paperwork I submitted, including their photocopy of the "missing" invoice. When I called the next day it was quickly reviewed and approved but I will never trust them with any large rebate. Seems like they deny for any reason they can think of and hope you just go away.

Really tempting. Newegg's cheapest RX 580 is $335 alone. With miners still pushing up GPU prices, these kind of bundles seem like a great way to grab one without getting gouged.
