I think I'm getting the LG Rebel 2 with case, 1200 minutes/ text/ data and year of service. Sell the card and gift the phone. I hope there is an actual card and is not preloaded.

Think the CDMA phones & plan are linked or preloaded to the Sim, no separate activation card. You should be able to get a byop Sim & swap plan/number to better phone later. GSM phones aren't linked, you can move the Sim between phones.

I didn't get any code, been 30 minutes.

Oh, so the Rebel is a CDMA so better to get GSM phone? My code came immediately. Try another email.

Try an alternate email. I got two codes out of 5 email addresses. I might have used the others in the past but don't remember

Finally got it to work after trying another email. Most TracFones are CDMA/Verizon, the LG Sunset is GSM/ATT. I got 2 of the Sunsets when they were less than $50 a few months ago.

This is even cheaper & works on Verizon, hopefully I can find a way around this -

PrePaid Plans TracFone Prepaid Service
To activate and redeem your promotional service, please visit activate.tracfone.com or call 1-800-816-0663
Promotional minutes are not transferable and are only guaranteed on the handset included in the order.
