You can find the rebate form here:

As stated previously, these are typically only valid in areas where Menards has a presence. Completing this process is super painless, just follow these steps:
1. Navigate
here [rewardpromo.com]
2. Fill out date of purchase and store number (4 digit number on your email confirmation)
3. Fill out invoice number (printed out when you pick up in store, or can be viewed in your Lowes.com order history if you elect to ship your order)
4. Fill out department number:
108779
5. I typically elect to receive my rebate electronically. These are usually sent in about 2 weeks.
This rebate can stack with other discounts (have never had an issue with this). The rebate will come in the form of a non-expiring Lowe's gift card.
If you do not live near an eligible Lowe's rebate store, it has been reported that you can change your Lowe's store to a rebate-eligible store and ship the items from that store. Shipping on a number of items is now free!
Thank you for pointing this out, JochMaster.

It's right on the rebate form:
Lowe's gift card will be delivered as a physical card by mail OR a virtual gift card by e-mail. Offer excludes the
purchases of Weber, Dacor, Icon, Fisher & Pakel, Monogram, Smeg, Liebherr, gift cards and service or installation.
Only valid in specific areas - see store associate for details
When the rebate looks at your purchase date, it has to fall in the posted date range. You'd have to return/rebuy for it to work. I just purchased a bunch of stuff last night, but can't bother to wait.
Honestly if you have the time, re-purchase what you got last week, and return using your old receipt. You'd be able to use the new receipt for the rebate!
Correct. Not participating = not eligible

Oh, yes you're right! You can always try! If they don't honor or no one answers, walk into store, purchase it at the customer service desk, then instantly return using your other receipt. If you explain what you're doing you may not have to have the product even pulled for it to happen.
What did you buy? Did you pay shipping fee for the order?
My Lowe's stores quality for the rebate, but I am wondering how it worked for you.
