Can I somehow plug-in USB microphone into the audio interface? Or do I need to buy real microphone?

If you already have a USB mic, these won't add much to what you're currently doing unless you want to use it to drive studio monitors. With that said, if you intend on expanding your mic collection, an interface with an okay preamp (like this one) is perfect. You will be able to get decent standard microphones for much less than their USB counterparts.

EDIT: I don't think you can drive studio monitors with the solo.

You can send audio to monitors with the solo has stereo out (It's stereo RCA). None of these drive monitors (as in amplify the signal for passive monitors), but most studio monitors these days seem to be active anyway (meaning they have their own amplification). Not all have RCA inputs, but a lot of them do.

Can't understand why someone would buy the icicle mic converter instead of just buying a legit interface for 10-20 dollars more -.-

Got a Behringer U‑Phoria UMC404HD @ MF for $84 with coupons. A lot of times you can pick it up for $90 with a chat. Perfect for home studio/podcast.
