Who knows how long pcloud will be in business, could only be for 1 year lol
Plus I don't know if I would trust the security of my files to a company I've never heard of before.

I have been using it since June. After 'test driving' the free account, I upgraded to the 2TB lifetime account.

I had been using it since beginning of 2017. Ideally backing up of all my kids/ family photo permanently. I can have my backup on remote site now.

I've been using them for a few months. Seems good so far. I'm on the fence for lifetime as I just paid for one year

What happened to your Cloudatcost file storage acct?

I paid $19.90 (sale) for 1TB and still have it.

$49 for 500GB lifetime with pCloud, or $99/year for 1TB Dropbox (or many other options). Sounds like a risk worth taking. I have 14.5GB of free storage with pCloud atm. The bigger worry is that Appsumo looks really, really sketchy.

Double-poast.

After some hemming and hawing, I went with it. If I get a year or more for that before pCloud goes under, I say it's totally worth it. But they've been around a little bit now, so I'm not totally worried.

Also, evidently if you email [email protected], they'll delete your account once you're done with redemption.

ALSO ALSO, OP: The "new customers only" is indeed in the appsumo description, BUT - you can apply it to an existing free account. I had 14.5GB of free space and then redeemed, and went to 500GB immediately.

Repped OP, big thanks man. I'm quite happy with this.

I bit also. They are the cloud service for a few big companies such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and BMW. I'm sure they will be around for quite sometime.

From what I have read, I believe it only goes straight to 500 gb. So you lose w/e you had before.

Edit: A post above mine said they went from 14.5 gb to 500 gb so you definitely lose what you have.

No thanks, I've read so many horror stories of people losing all thier pictures and files when cloud storage companies suddenly shut down. No recourse.
