This is a great stick, been using it for a few years on Xbox One, very solid, not too heavy for your lap but still feels arcade sized

I remember playing arcade SF decades ago. I wonder if the new generation peep ever play arcade like this or they're stuck with mobile games and console controller games?

There are few young top players in street fighter 5. While they know how to play on a arcade stick, they prefer a controller.

I need to spend more time with this stick, I bought it a few months back and it wasn't as user friendly as previous ones (like the SF IV TE stick was straight-fwd). This one takes some setup.

If I had to guess, I think that user may have been referring to finding a comfortable position/surface/height to place the stick. I primarily game on my TV in my living room and only have a coffee table that's pretty low so using a stick is a bit uncomfortable for me to have to hunch over and look up at the wall, but I do enjoy using them for shmups.

I doubt the placement of the stick is the issue, because he/she said their previous stick (which is also of similar size and build) was more user-friendly. It's probably something to do with the functionality of the stick itself.

Hori uses their own buttons and stick. Swansa is another brand that is used in sticks and buttons. Square vs diamond stick layout and button pressure. Hope this helps.
