Rumors on the interwebs is AMD is packaging 1800 series chips as needed into 1600 series boxes to keep up with R5 demands. Reddit is filling with posts about this. Just a bonus on this deal if I end up with an 8 core Ryzen. I got taxed as well, but the next day shipping was nice. $190 to my door for this chip is about $10 less than previous deals. I pleased all the way round.
