The way this work is you buy the Google Home/Mini/Max device from Walmart/Walmart.com/Walmart through Google Express, then activate it before 1/15/18. Then you link your Google home with Walmart.com. Once you do that, you get a coupon that is ONLY valid for order with Walmart THROUGH google express. It is really a coupon, not a discount. It also forces you to use google express which as of August has no subscription fee! [google.com]

The Fine Print on the Google Home Mini Page on Walmart.com:
"Get up to $25 off a Walmart order with Google Express. Expires 1/15/18. Available in the contiguous United States only. Not available in HI or AK. Device must be activated between October 4, 2017 and January 15, 2018 to qualify. Coupon expires January 31, 2018. Coupon will be automatically issued after linking account to Walmart.com. Valid only for Walmart orders on Google Express. Only two (2) coupons total per household. Unused coupon amount doesnt carry over."

So you must activate the device first and that's why you're not seeing the Coupon yet.

While the Fine Print on Walmart.com says "up to $25", on the Google Home Support website, it says "$25": https://support.google.com/google...er/7126374

You will not get $25 off the google homes.. you just need to activate a google home on your google account and then you get a $25 coupon. I think.... its not clear how it works.

It's very confusing. I chatted with a rep on Walmart.com, and they instructed me to call their phone support to speak with someone. Can't do that until later, so in the meantime, I voiced my confusion on the blog where they announced the deal:

It's unclear how this works. The mini is now on Walmarts website, and there's an image that says "save up to $25" with Google express, but there's no way to choose Google express during the checkout process, and if you search for Google home on Walmarts page in the Google express website no products come up. Seems it's not quite live yet.

exactly, i went to google express and dont see any option for google home mini under walmart
