I beg to differ, while not the cheapest, they are competitive with services like Google Fi. And since they use both the Sprint and T-Mobile (maybe even AT&T?) networks you can port over just about any unlocked phone.
Also it is super easy to activate, suspend, and customize the access of your phones.
Their customer service is top notch too. I always get a real email response, not some pre-made canned corporate response.

My bill is about $50 a month for 2 lines, using about 2GB of data total.

Since this phone is unlocked, can't it be used with any GSM service? Why would you spend $50 for only 2 GB total? Mintsim, for example, costs about $15/mo for unlimited talk, text and 2 GB using Tmo lines. So two lines would be about $30. It also includes unlimited int'l texting and a decent allowance for some international calls. For about $23/mo you can have 5 GB, if I remember right.

I wondered if you may have possibly mistaken this G5S Plus with the prior year's Moto G5 Plus? This model only released Sep 29th, so the part about Moto not fixing the issue for months threw me off a lil' bit.

Though with the way they're named, I could see where that would be an easy mistake anyone could make. Has this one been reported to have the same issues since it came out in the past week that you know of?

yeah, it realy depends on how much you use, can be cheap or expensive

lol. if i only used 2GB for two phones a month, my total bill would be ZERO with freedompop..$50 is crazy ass expensive for that usage..

I think you're outside Ting's target customer area if you need 10 GB and only one line. They haven't been the cheapest (ever?) but I believe their focus is the customer who wants to itemize each cost and combine the usage in a group/family with other users and customer service. (Or at least their marketing seems to suggest that)

Any of those "you buy each GB, text, minute" carriers (Ting, RW, Google Fi) are not for heavier users, since the costs really add up fast, as you can tell.

$204 assuming no tax seems to be the best price for this no? Sounds like you don't need to get a service plan as well.

Good specs, wish they had wireless charging ughhhhhh why is that so hard to find. Will probably just wait another month for an S7 in the same price range.
