I've personally had success getting a Amazon MUSIC gift card to qualify for the 4x points promos limited to entertainment in the past. Just load it to your amazon account and it works for all amazon purchases, not just music.

Not true they have been doing this for years. Next go around will be all gift cards most likely. They just changed it up 1/3 times to limited categories

Never seen this type of restrictions before... not sure what you are referring to. Usually it's all gcs for 4x points or only visa,mc, etc. Sometimes they allow $ off for specific gcs.

They have been doing it for years sometimes it's restaurants/entertainment or home improvement. The majority of the time it everything 4x except Kroger GC and reloadable CC
