This must be the modern way of getting samples now a days. I think it's a win-win for both sides since samples can take 4-7 weeks.

Not really lose money, because nobody is forcing you to purchase anything or part with your money.

I personally prefer to buy smaller sizes to experience new things, rather than commit to a bigger size. Plus they give the credit back for the regular size later. Thank you for Amazon.

Most of the products are expensive. E.g. Diapers. Sample cost is $2, if you are happy with the product, you need to spend at least $50 to purchase it. There are other brands which are affordable.

My only problem is you only get a $2 credit. Unless you buy multiple samples in the same category you won't cover the cost of another product that the credit is good for.

What can I buy with my sampling credits?

For each sample that you buy, you will receive a credit equal to the price you paid for the sample. You can use your credit toward a future purchase of select full-size items from the product type you sampled. For example, if you purchased a shampoo sample, you could use your credit toward select full-size shampoos. You can only use your credit on items shipped and sold by Amazon.com.
