Cam uses Sony Exmor 323 Sensor.

Very good night time performance

Vivid- day time performance

Capacitor (higher temperature tolerance)


Cons:

30fps (lower motion clarity vs 60fps systems)


Point of contention:


170 Degrees FOV: This fov leads to more significant blurring of screen edges, because it's a wide distance being resolved in "limited resolution"

(140-150 degrees FOV is the sweet spot the enthusiasts agree upon for usefully resolvable screen edge)

Have owned this since July and has worked out fine. Video is pretty clear and it can record sound too. Live in a hot place so waited for the capacitor version instead of the battery version. Suction cup attachment has only fallen off once since I've mounted it. I like to set it up so the viewscreen turns off after 1 minute of inactivity.

I must say that I am a little disappointed that after all this time, I don't really have anything noteworthy to save and post on Youtube. I must live in a boring place.

Own this camera, paid a bit less on a deal several months back. It works great, video is nice and clear, but every now and again the time and stuff resets, it's completely random.

I owned it for about 2 months before someone hit my car and lied about what happened. Their insurance tried to pin it on me w/o any evidence cuz their driver gave a different story. I sent them the video and they paid me out in less than an hour.
