Probably for the best. These are known to corrupt their EEPROM and not turn on. Although, I don't think they ever fixed the firmware.

I had a refurbished one for well over a year, never an issue. I ended up selling it for something like $120 on eBay because I needed the space. Just bought another one since I am in a new space and needed a small screen for my video game consoles. Thanks OP!

These are great! And easy to fix! A tv parts site has the chip and you just unsolder the old chip and solder the new one! In for 2 these look so good. If anyone has any broken ones they want to unload let me know in a pm!

Wow I've been lucky. Mine has been running great. I've been using it for games. Using it with the PS3 remote control.
