Makita 18V LXT Li-Ion Brushless Hammer Drill/Impact Driver Kit Expired

Home Depot is throwing in 2 extra 5.0Ah batteries (total of 4) with the purchase of this handheld saw. You could throw the tool away and this would be an excellent deal. Makita's brushless line is awesome and their 18V-X2 line (2 batteries at a time) is incredible. Also, this saw has a perfect score on Amazon at the moment.
Model: XSR01PT
(Never posted before, but this one seemed like it deserved a shout out)

Maybe a good deal if you're in construction but $350 for a saw and batteries probably won't apply to many on here.

If you're tossing the saw I'll msg you my address!

I have the brushed version with 4ah batteries and it has every bit as much power as a corded saw. Batteries don't last very long ripping 2" oak but cutting OSB or 2x4s battery life is respectable.

I guess, but spending $350 for a weekend warrior isn't really slick when you could get corded tools for a fraction of the price. Just sayin...

I'd think the weekend warrior would want cordless tools because the weekend warrior can't cut MDF in his apartment without coating the room in dust.

Unless of course, you think weekend warriors use a $50 CS with their $300 Fein or Festool vac

It's true that not everyone will be interested in a commercial grade saw, and if you have a couple tool batteries at home, you're probably good on batteries for the next decade. But I see tool deals pop up on SD that push the boundaries of your everyday garage warrior. So I know there are tool guys on here that this is going to appeal to.

The difference between brushed and brushless seems to be significant on some of their tools. Not sure if it applies to saws, but I have both the brushed and brushless version of their angle grinder and the difference is night and day. With the brushed version, I get a couple cuts, but my brushless grinder can go for hours. (highly recommend)

I probably should have featured the drill / impact driver / router kit.
3 tools that any respectable weekend warrior should have. I was just excited about the batteries. Didn't realize there were other deals when I first posted.

Picked up the track saw for 540 shipped. Bare tool goes for 350, batteries go for about 300 and the rail is another 90. Plus you get the nice stackable cases.

Those cases are the best. If I had noticed the track saw before pulling the trigger on the circular saw, I probably would have gone for that one.
