"The professional protein earpad..." wtf
I bought this when there was a deal last time (Around May) and I am very happy with my purchase.
1) I don't have to recharge this for 3-4 weeks (It has a gigantic battery capacity)
2) The noise cancellation is real. I won't be able to compare this with Bose but the cancellation is there.
3) You don't need to turn on the device if you're planning to use it with aux cable. Ofcourse, there is no noise cancellation in this mode but if you're like me, you will find turning on and pairing to be a bit annoying.

Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. I thought this was a steal for $35.
Same here. I bought these the last time they went FP. I think they were $37.99 maybe? So basically the same price. I love them. I know the audio experts might disagree, but for $40 I'm totally happy with them. I took them on a trip to Europe and the battery life was outstanding. They're comfortable, and to me, sound great. For the money I'd buy them again for sure. The bluetooth is super easy to pair. Before I bought some people said they had occasional sync issues when using bluetooth. I experienced this once, but a power down (or maybe a video restart, I forget) and all was perfect.

These are "over ear" btw, not "on ear" for those who might be wondering.

Totally agree with this assessment. By no means are they top of the line but for the price, they are a great introduction to noise cancelling. I actually mowed my lawn a few times with them and the noise cancellation definitely helped take off some frequencies so that it was actually possible to listen to music. Wouldn't spend much more than this price on them but great at this price.

Own these as well from a prior deal. They definitely don't compare to the Bose line in noise canceling but these still work great for plane travel for example.

These E-7 headphones are awesome!! I bought them at a similar price when they were paired with the HE-8 for 90 bucks. Please avoid the HE-8 because they have poor connectivity. The E-7 is over ear, no headaches or earaches, long Bluetooth range, noise cancellation that works, great sound as well as bass, amazing battery life. Plus cowin has a 1.5 year warranty I think. At this price these headphones are a steal.

i have these and tested these with:
http://www.audiocheck.net/soundte...phones.php

amazing sound quality (and battery life), but the noise cancelling matches the price.

that being said, if you don't care about noise cancelling these are a steal

Is that normal for active noise cancellation to not work when connected via 3.5mm wire? Is it because you need the mic for the noise cancellation and the mic will only work when bluetooth is on?
