Got one of these on prime day for my girlfriends daughter, was extremely easy to download apk's for Google play store. Also using it with Google now launcher with no issues, works great for trips and she watches YouTube and plex on it. I loaded up an SD card with stuff for her to watch when not on wifi, and it has definitely been worth it for the price.

This is a hell of a deal. I bought one of these during one of those fire sales and installed the Google Play store on it and it's awesome for the price.

6th and 7th gen almost the same. i think 7th just has better wifi, i don't notice the difference, still plays youtube.

dang. already have two spares in the drawer ready to go. I have a mix of gen 6 and 7 and find them pretty much identical in performance. great deal for a pretty good tablet. love to download netflix and amazon shows onto these for the kids for car rides

Are the special offers any good these days. I recall many many years ago the amazon special offers were super great. They had 20% discount on laptops, tv's or dslr. But now you hardly hear about it.
