Does anyone else remember when the internet was young and new, that we could send email to Arthur C Clarke and he would respond? Back then Bjarne Stroustrup had hair and also gave out his email address for bug reports. As did Ritchie for that new fangle "UNIX". Backslash bang baby.

How do you get no rush shipping credit with a Kindle purchase?

EDIT: Or you referring to using them, not gaining them?

Woah, this is a big deal. There have been several smaller chunks on sale for $1.99 as well, so this is much better. I have a physical copy, but I'm tempted to grab the ebook too.

***edit***

I couldn't resist. Grabbed it!

I like reading 1-2 star reviews before buying anything, they say a lot - often by implication - about the product. The worst anyone could say about this is (to wit) his stories haven't aged well. By implication, that says that actual content aside, it's a good e-collection.

$2 for the whole (?) collection is a pretty good deal, insofar as you want such a large collection of ACC's works. For that price, hard to go wrong.

Easy buy - thanks!

You might get by with several collections of this size for Asimov. I'm fairly certain there is no single "collected works" equivalent because Asimov practically wrote constantly his entire life. Im sure you are referring to his fiction, which was just a small percentage of his total output. Even so, it dwarfs Clarke.

A good start would be "The Complete Robot" which is misleading because it doesn't have EVERY robot story.

Try in chronological order. I did that for my second run through, including the books authorized by other authors.
