The lowest before this deal on Amazon in the last 900 ish days was $279 which is the price it has been since July 18 of this year. The only other time it was that price was December 13 - 26, 2015. It was offerred refurbished intermittently at $279 as well during that period.

While lately reviews seem to favor the high end Sony noise cancelling headphones, I have a pair of these (I typically fly 3-4 times a month) and wouldn't be caught on a plane without them. For early morning flights I have an old iPod with a playlist with music for sleeping; for afternoon flights I have a different playlist. I paid retail full price for my QC 25s and would do it again. I might just get these for my wife who might go on a plane a couple times a year - or my kids, who fly about as many times a year. Smoking deal.
