I wanted to buy the Takeya Originals Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle, 32 oz, White for $14.99 but it is sold out. Fortunately Amazon has it for the same price so I ordered it from them. I brought a different colored one before from BB for the same price a few months ago. But my Mom saw it & asked if she could have it so I gave it to her.

Nice find OP, I have one of their borosilicate glass bottles and I love it. Really good quality, even the cap is rock solid, nice seal. Just throw in the dishwasher.

Why would you want this made with glass? What benefit is there other than dropping it and having glass shatter everywhere?

Some people, like me, are sensitive to metal taste and plastic tends to hold smells and tastes more than glass.

I was wondering the same thing. They look cool, but they are just not practical. Water bottles are designed to be portable and portable things tend to be at risk for being knocked around.

Agreed. I don't mind the stainless too much but avoid anything plastic like the plague...

Yeah, and I also with a household of toddlers I just have an aversion to needlessly breakable things. But, if one has something against stainless steel and has very low risk for a bottle getting knocked over, then I could see their point in getting glass.
