I would've bought the TX Leather two days ago but I jumped on the best buy G920/shifter deal at 1/2 the price.

BAM! Been waiting awhile for a deal on the pro pedals. Grabbed the shifter too as the previous-gen doesn't play nice with PS4. Thanks OP & big reps!

Same here, I ordered the G29 yesterday and it's arriving tomorrow. Gonna try it for couple of weeks. I've been keeping an eye on the Alcantara Edition wheel for a while now.

However, quick search on slickdeals showed during BF and December of last year, prices even went lower:

T3PA pro set for 75$.
T300 Alcantara Edition for 300$
T300 RS GT was around 260$ few months ago.

So I'm gonna hold off on these newegg deals, plus they won't let you return if there is a problem, you have to deal directly with Thrustmaster.Confused

I just can't bring myself ever buy another thrustmaster product again. I bought a T300 from Newegg last year and had to return because of a pedal and shifter problem. Just returned another T300 back to Amazon because of a wheel issue. I'm going to give the G29 a spinner hopefully that thing will last more than 2 weeks

Dang. Sorry to hear that man. I've been reading a lot of horror stories about the reliability of TM wheels.

Most of it bc of the over heat issue. I would've thought they improve their quality productions by now. Did newegg give u any trouble with their return policy?

No. I originally contacted TM and they wanted to to take apart the wheel and check the springs and mess with stretching them out. For a wheel that was only a few weeks old I said heck with it and returned it for a full refund

I also forgot to mention I have a T150 I'm slowly working with TM to do something about. It makes the highest pitch noise! My kid from the other room comments he can hear it.

So, one person, 3 bad tm wheels. Maybe I'm unlucky......

I see, I've been reading alot topics and threads about :G29/920 vs T300s. Most said the T300s is better but also have a lot of problems with it after weeks, months, plus only 1 year warranty compare to 2 yeasr from logitech.

My original thought is to play with the G29 I ordered yesterday from Amazon for a couple of weeks until I find a good deal for the T300/TX. I may decide to keep the G29 for at least a year then (provide it still working laugh out loud) to see if the TM wheels get better in quality productions.

At this moment, I'm still using the TM Ferrari GT Experience which is a bungee wheel and only 180 degree that I bought ages ago ( did not take racing games seriously). Surprisingly PCs 2 and F1 2016/2017 still support it lol and I was impress how better these games are with the wheel instead of a controller.

These things suppose to give us a couple hours of entertainment after a long day at work and put the kids to bed, not more headache. I feel your frustration manSmilie

The one that I thought was the least likely to be a good deal, hence placed last, turns out to be a front page price.

Honestly, if your going to get the G29 you might as well save even more money and just get a G27. The G29 is basically nothing more than a price increase for a cosmetic change and no longer including the shifter. Logitech is also still using the same method of force feedback that was in the G25, which at this point is almost 10 years old and noticeably outdated compared to everyone else. I still have both my G25 and the G29. Loved the G25 when i first got it. The G29 feels like i got tricked into buying the same wheel again. I currently use the Thrustmaster TX. But imo until Logitech updates their force feedback technology, buying one would be like buying a VCR today to watch movies.

Aren't you getting a used G27 at this point though? G29 was $200 with shifter included for a new product. and You don't have to buy an adapter to use it on the PS4 or ps3
