The Werner platform (from Lowe's) is inferior in several ways: 225 lbs capacity instead of 300, 39.5 inches long instead of 47 inches, and perhaps most importantly, does not fold flat.
i don't want one, i don't need one, but i just bought two.
will be $19.97 on black friday (Werner brand)

Ive been waiting for this deal for a couple months. $70 platform for $30. Folds CLEAN. Thats the key thing with this platform. All the others fold up with legs all messy and take up extra space. Already ordered one but might go with a second.

Handy around the house. I will also use for loading bikes on my van, and as a bench and table when car camping.

Agree completely... I'd take 2 of these over the 2 Lowe's one's that I've had for 3 years anytime...

Same price, same brand... what are the differences? https://www.homedepot.com/p/Goril.../302061073

There really isn't outside of the model numbers/sku. They are essentially the same.

Marketing.

Personally I have both of these and would take the Werner over these any day. These have corroded after 2 years, whereas the Werners have held up well after 7-8 years. And for the comment about the Werner not staying flat, you have to lock them to stay flat.

The Gorilla ones are made of aluminum. How can they rust?
And the fact is that due to the way the Werner's legs fold, it's 6 inches thick in its folded state, compared to the Gorilla's 3.4 inches.
