Reviews on the bigger size is bad. Maybe used for small fish. But, who need net for a small fish.

I dont think experience would determine what size next you need.

If you were picking one of these, i would base it on how/where im fishing.

If im wading (standing) in the water or edgeof the water, the shortest one would be fine. In a kayak, canoe, or small boat or on a dock the middle size should be good. If in a larger boat or jetty, maybe a pier the longest would be best.

This is the second 50cm net I am buying . The first one was claimed by a family member when fishing in his boat. If you fish for pan fish & trout this is perfect. With the first one I lifted a blue fish about 5 pounds with little difficulties . Price to quality this is easy a 5 start . Also this is a rubber bet easy on the fish if you do catch and release & also in your hooks and line
