Common questions form the last thread on this deal I'm going to try to summarize:

Yes, you can use these to extend an existing subscription.
Yes, they are stackable
Yes, there are some basic instructions: https://www.dropbox.com/help/bill...icense-key
No, they do NOT show the extended time after added. The code's will take effect in the order their added as time expires automatically.
No, there's no way to tell how many codes you have on the account as of right now so make sure you see the success message when you add it.
Yes, Dropbox should fix the crappy way they handle these codes.
Yes, this can be applied to the existing Dropbox Plus subscription as long as you don't have any of the additional add on features, like the extended versioning. You used to be able to see the additional license keys that were purchased within the Dropbox UI, but apparently there's an issue with the new interface. You can see the question was posted on the dropbox forums:

This is turning out to be super slick for me.

On Nov 3rd, I paid $65.31 on the same Dell+Dropbox deal and got the $25 GC.

Today, I applied that $25 GC bringing this order's total to $40.31 (59.99+5.32 tax - 25 gc).

So I've paid $105.31 (65.31 on Nov 3 and 40,31 today) and will get $5.27 Cashback (5%) from Discover. That makes it $100.04. Then, I'll get back $25 GC from Dell for today's order and l'll definitely use it for something which effectively will bring down my final amount paid to $75.04.

TWO years of Dropbox for $37.52 per year is not bad.

Can this be applied to an existing Dropbox Plus subscription to pay ahead and get the next year at a good price?

Thanks. I read the post, and I guess that part will be fixed soon.

Does the key come with instructions on applying it? Does it expire? Can we wait until right before our current subscription expires (next year) and apply it, or do we apply it now and it extends for another year past our current expiration?

I got the eGift card from the previous deal like a month ago and it seems like I can't use that as it says it's invalid. The balance check shows $25 though. Anyone else got the same issue? If I can't use it I'd rather let it go for cheap

Is the $25 giftcard per quantity or per entire order?
(E.g. if I buy 3, do I get 3 $25 giftcards?)

Also, would these be available to use for the black friday sale?

Thanks!

I got the $25 gift card the last time this deal ran & used it to buy another year Plus subscription. The process is a bit convoluted - you have to add the gift card, then select the amount you want to apply and add an additional payment method to cover the balance. But it does work.

Not just that, but it appears there are kinds of Plus accounts that this will NOT work on, and the only way to tell what you have is by inspecting your storage quota?! Quoting from above Dropbox link:

Verify that you're not using an older Dropbox subscription plan.

Click Plan.
If you have a Plus or Professional account but see a 50 GB, 2 TB, or 5 TB storage limit, you won't be able to use a license key.
If none of the above steps worked for you, contact the license key provider for further help.
I like how they absolve themselves, as if anyone but them knows the rules.
