1050 GPU is a bit weak and no Thunderbolt, but this is a good price for a laptop with 7700HQ, 512GB NVMe SSD, and 16GB RAM with current prices for SSD and memory upgrades.

No tax outside of NJ/NY and current 8% ebay bucks deal make it pretty good deal if the 1050 is sufficient for your needs.

I think this is still the latest "HQ" processor, the new 8th Gen U (now quad core) series processors come very close in performance but I don't think they've released the 8th Gen HQ line yet

Agreed. The Inspiron 7000 deal with the 1060 GPU (while less memory and ssd space) and thunderbolt at $750AR was a good deal

is this PCIe SSD or just normal m2 SATA ssd ? and what write and read speed ?

So it's the faster bidirectional kind that can read and write at the same time with faster speeds
