This TV was the smaller version of the
$120,000 ridiculous monstrosity that was the 120 in Vizio reference series. It's a 2015 TV and to be clear it
may or may not have a software upgrade that allows it to render modern HDR formats [avsforum.com]. But at the time it was the first to have Dolby Vision built in.
IT IS...STILL about 4-5k online everywhere else. So from that perspective, it is an interesting proposition for the price. Personally, I'm going to grab the 6
5 OLED that goes on sale on the 27th but...I suspect this might make in interesting '2nd Tv' for those current and former members of the US Military that enjoy multi-AV urinating contests. Or those that like to flip merch on eBay to the unwashed, non-researching masses.
