I hope I don't get destroyed for this - wasn't sure of the best location for this so feel free to [re]move as you see fit.

I knew Micro Center price matched, but I didn't have a list of vendors they would do it for or details on the little stipulations & caveats. I reached out to Micro Center and they were kind enough to get some good details. Thinking this might be helpful for others, especially with the holiday season upon us, I figured SD was the most appropriate location to share what little information I have.

Approved Retailers/Vendors


The Fine Print
  1. Micro Center will price match with most major retailers.
  2. You will need to provide proof of the pricing via physical advertisement OR be able to pull it up on a computer/phone at the time of purchase/price matching.
  3. The item has to be in stock.
  4. The item cannot be a clearance item.
  5. With online retailers like like Amazon, the item has to be shipped by them, not a 3rd party through them.
  6. If the item is an 'in-store only' deal, something Fry's does often, and the store is not nearby, there's a very good chance the item will NOT be price matched.
  7. Assuming the conditions are met, the store "almost always" price matches HOWEVER it is up to the management at the store.
