We have vaulted ceilings and a bunch of windows and skylights in the front of our condo, and even with most vents closed in the back, it is still way way hotter or cooler in the back with heat or a/c on, respectively, than the front. So I'm trying to find a fan to help move air from the back of my condo to the front.

I've read so many mixed reviews on these that they are either great at pushing air, are very well built, and well worth the price; or they are way over priced and you are better off buying a $20 box fan as not only is it far cheaper, but it actually works better/moves more air. Is a cheap box fan really better at moving air that one of these? And if so, could someone recommend one to get?

Thanks
