I want to buy a $7 microsd adapter (special one to make it sit flush) from Amazon and put this in wifey's 256gb XPS 13 to give her a little more basic storage.

I think the controller is limited to 20mb/sec

Now the question is whether the Samsung EVO+ 128GB ($30 from B&H) is a good investment...Guess EVO+ 2017 model is much faster than Sandisk Ultra and Ultra Plus?

Don't know if I should buy this for Switch or wait for 256GB to hit this price. I know there's a 400GB now as well, but that might take a couple years to be reasonably priced.
