Having used both the Ridgid and the DeWalt that is very similar in design to this, I'd recommend the Ridgid. It's simply an easier platform to set up and move around. This style is easier to level on uneven terrain and is still pretty good, especially at $80. It's just a bit unwieldy, especially with a bigger saw like a sliding miter saw.
