I just called Frys in Palo Alto and they offered $600 off the normal Black Friday price for in-store purchase. They are an authorized retailer. Sadly they are back ordered but promised pickup in 1 - 2 weeks. I ordered one at today's price and they will call me in a week when the shipment comes in.

Direct line to TV department is 6504966051.

Out the door with taxes was $2294.91

I was also able to order the 65" B7A from Palo Alto today at $1799. They quoted pickup in 2 weeks.

Are y'all implying I can call to order one and pick it up eventually? Or do I have to go in to the store to place the order? I'm away for the holidays so can't go to my hometown physical location

I just called and did it all over the phone. They scanned the receipt and emailed it to me.

Seems to be common, although I've only checked with the San Jose, Campbell, and Sunnyvale stores.

Basically:

OLED 55 B7A - $1199
OLED 65 B7A - $1799

The C7 series are $300 more for both. All but the 65 B7A are available today.

You can pay for the 65 B7A today with pick-up or delivery within 2 weeks. I have mine tentatively scheduled for Monday, 12/2. They waived the shipping charges.

One of the associates said that the 65 B7A's were "all out" and that they couldn't place the order anymore, but all the other associates said otherwise and just punched the order in the computer.

I had to show them or at least mention specifically the reduced pricing (as sent over the BF ad email). Otherwise, they kept on charging other walk-ins the online prices, or worse, the in-store regular price.
