I️ almost bit at 375 but that shatter shield screen was gross at Best Buy. So many scratches and dings. I️ was told by Motorola rep at TMobile store to ask for a free screen protector when ordering.

One the front page of T-Mobile.... it says the Moto Z force is $300 with a link to add a line.
If you click on the page of the phone, it says save $75 instantly and the full price is $375 if you choose to pay it in full without adding a line. You are right though.

You don't have to add a line. The $75 comes off in checkout when you go to pay. It's fine to upgrade.
