I was going to get this silver lock to replace the gold colored lock I have, but I decided not to when I learned you have to manually lock it after entering the code. My kids like the automatic motorized deadbolt that we already have. I'm still looking to replace my gold colored one with a nickel one.

I like manual one but hope it has alarm if not closing door after certain delay.
This is what it means:
Many ANSI/BHMA standards set forth different product grades for a particular hardware item. These product grades (grade 1, 2, or 3 -- with grade 1 being the highest) are defined by progressive levels of performance benchmarks in each applicable ANSI/BHMA standard.
I replaced a 15 year old deadbolt on my garage with this a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier. My garage only has a deadbolt, so if you wanted to lock it, or unlock it I need the keys. Really cumbersome, in the summer, with the kids bikes and toys. If we are in front with the kids, and someone wants their bike or the bubble machine, some one has to run inside and get the keys. I am also always forgetting to lock the door, because i didn't have the keys on me at the time, but the spin lock feature solves that problem.
This keypad is not the best money can buy, but for $30 it solves a lot of problems for me. It is easy to install, and very responsive. I am very happy with this lock.
