Huh? Did I miss something? I think this "free for 1 day" just means free "trial" or "teaser" to make you buy it later..... am I wrong?

...like PVZ2 letting you play/test premium plants for free.....

I read it as the free item is only available to obtain for 24 hours. I don't think they would take anything away after you got it.

Can someone clarify on how this might work for Xbox 360/windows 10 versions?

Am I having to go into everyone's (3 kids) profile to purchase separately?

Can I log into the Microsoft store page and purchase under their account, and it would apply on both console as well as Win10 ?

EDIT:

Apparently, this is not available on Xbox 360 as they do not have a marketplace.

Free to own forever. Must buy it during that day to get it for free. I think as soon as you launch the game it automatically gives it to you, but just go to the in game store to make sure you got it. Each day there will be a new giveaway.

It is on PS4,I just downloaded the skins on my system through the playstation store.
