Windscribe SUCKS without following this Youtube video I made. Hopefully it helps out your situation if Windscribe is super slow. It's an relatively easy fix by using "IKEv2 Compression".

Look for blue "enter code" button.

Maybe logs law in Canada have changed since the torfreak was written. https://www.best-bittorrent-vpn.c...anada.html

Reddit comment on this subject by Windscribe founder (Some douche posted a fake quote, fixed now):

You are based in Canada which requires providers to keep specific logs. I assume you are not your own backbone provider and outsource bandwidth and also collocate. There is enough information that is provided to help identify who did what.

That's absolutely not true. There are no laws in Canada that require us to keep any logs.

If you are referring to this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cop...zation_Act

It only applies to ISPs. We are not an ISP..

If using Paypal, check final price before submitting. There is no "confirmation" screen before submitting so it submits right out of paypal and despite the cart saying $11.40 for the 1-yr, it changed back to $19.00 when I went to process my paypal payment.

All I can say is I bought the lifetime subscription last time and have thoroughly happy. They now have an Android app so it's super simple on your phone.

Desktop blocks ads when you use the chrome extension.

I torrent all the time as well.

No complaints here.
Great deal. Been using it for an year.
For those who are looking:
1) Windscribe has killswitch. (It blocks internet activity if your connection drops)
2) There is a browser add-on VPN in addition to the desktop app.
3) Okay-ish customer support - they don't have chat - but raising a ticket and getting it resolved was a fairly short turn-around for me.
4) NO LOGS (I know)
5) Nil performance lags (unlike heavy VPNs)
6) Okay-ish speed (go for it only if you have a pretty good internet speed)
I've been using the free 60GB / month version since the summer and this is a pretty accurate review. On a 60Mbps down connection I usually still get 30-45, which is more than enough.

still alive, just extend my 3 years to lifetime. It's worth the money. I don't like to install any VPN client so the chrome extension works very well for me, it's the number one reason why i choose this Windscribe.

Still alive, I just bought it. I've been happy with the free version of Windscribe so I figured why not grab the Lifetime plan.

You & others. Have they added per app VPN options like PIA & others to the Android App. It's the only thing I am waiting for to go lifetime. Per App Settings is a must on FireTV's to VPN all traffic except apps like Netflix that actively block most VPN IP's.

BTW, great full review here: https://www.thevpnlab.com/reviews...be-review/

Sale is listed to end in 11 hours.

There is currently not a way to select which apps use the Windscribe VPN via the Windscribe app.
