Newegg [newegg.com] has the ASUS ROG GeForce GTX 1070 Ti STRIX-GTX1070TI-A8G-GAMING 8GB on sale for $469.99 - $20 MIR = $449.99.

Shipping is free but not Shoprunner eligible at the moment (was yesterday).

Notes: Nvidia sells the reference design for $449.99. As far as I can tell the best deals for 1070 Tis were around Black Friday for around $430. There was the Massdrop deal for MSI Titanium and Gaming variants for $430 neither of which has actually shipped yet. The other deal was for the Zotac Mini for $433.99 at Superbiiz.

Also of note this deal is the for the Advanced A8G model which has a higher OC mode clock speed of 1759 MHz vs the 8G model's 1721 MHz. I presume this means it's been binned and will potentially OC/undervolt better.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Anyone have any experiences with ASUS? Considering pulling the trigger, but I was holding out for an EVGA.

Not sure never ordered from Massdrop before for this reason always seemed like a similar deal would come around before the thing actually shipped lol. If you ordered the 1070 Ti through Massdrop though it is the better deal so might want to stick it out Smilie

I also prefer EVGA when possible. I've never actually purchased an Asus GPU but their motherboards have always worked out for me so I ended up pulling the trigger on this one.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Would never buy an Asus GPU! Worst warranty of any company I've dealt with. The only Asus product I will buy is refurbished routers, they are pretty great.

Just wanted to post a follow up. This board is looking like one of the better 1070 Tis. Big cooler, 3 fans, and only one power connector. I picked up some of the MSI Titanium boards as well and they have two power connectors and use about 20w more at the same clock speed as the Asus board. Downside of the Asus is it takes 2.5 slots and also is pretty long. Not sure this would fit in smaller cases I had to move my drive cage cover to make it fit in mine. Price is now up to $520... wish I bought more lol. If you guys see this on sale again don't hesitate to pick it up!
