Zen Studios is currently giving away the new Carnivals and Legends DLC table packs for Pinball FX3 on Steam (PC), Nintendo Switch, and other consoles until Dec 19, 2017. Just download the Pinball FX3 base game and Carnivals and Legends DLC pack from the appropriate store before Dec 19.

It's only free on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, Win10 and Steam.

Probably if you have a Nintendo eShop account and say you want to "purchase it" for free. When you link the Switch to the Nintendo account later, it should download to the switch.

Worth a shot anyway!
