[Not a deal] Amazon Dash Button Credit (New Rules applied???)
I'm hoping that I'm wrong. But I have tried 3 times today already (Dec 19th, 2017) with 3 separate brand new Dash Buttons. Paired the buttons and pressed! No credit applied to my order (Sold by Amazon.com).
Contacted the rep and I was told that $4.99 Dash Credit may only be applied to Dash item. Before, it applies on any item purchases on Amazon as long as it is sold by Amazon.com.

Can someone confirm that you can still have the $4.99 credit on anything on Amazon (You press the button to get the credit AFTER you read this thread), not limited to Dash Items only?
I can confirm that I did get the credit by buying Dash Item through Dash Button. But I did NOT get the credit trying to buy anything else.

New buttons still apply $4.99 credit to your account, however, the $4.99 credit now ONLY applies to that button's products through the button and is no longer applicable to anything sold/shipped by amazon.

I still get the 4.99 credit, but they don't apply on checkout. Hope this is temp.
You do get the credit if you try to order through the button right?
Yes you get credit when ordering from button. But once you cancel and order something else credit don't appear. I try 3 button all don't give me credit like it use to.
Are you actually checking if they are applying to any item?
the credits work... on the specific items. they dont apply to any item any more.
